n7 Designs was founded in 1990 by artist
and designer, Nina Seven. Originally from the
Midwest, she migrated west to attend college
and never left. She obtained a fine art degree
with an emphasis in graphic design from
the University of Oregon, eventually moving to
Seattle to work for a major department store.
Upon leaving a 14 year career as a Visual
Merchandising Director, she took her love of
art and coffee and began to create unique,
hand assembled greeting cards that could be
customized for the corporate client.
Prints of her original coffee inspired designs were
added to the collection in 2004. They come matted
and shrink wrapped, framed or simply as loose prints.
In addition to her growing greeting card business,
she also creates fine art work, using mixed media
in an abstract nature inspired style. Her work can be
seen at the Seattle Art Museum's Rental Sales Gallery
and on her blog at .
She also designs decorative rubber stamps,
used in card making and scrapbooking,
for A Muse, a Seattle-based company that sells
stamps and paper products.
She lives in Seattle's Phinney Ridge neighborhood
with her husband, two children and cat, Scout.
